- Major or Current Achievements *: MIHOSO International has worked in more than 240 communities in Ashanti, Brong Ahafo and 3 Northern regions of Ghana. Some of the achievements are; MIHOSO advocated and supported 200 communities to enable people with mental illness and epilepsy to access treatment and their rights to inclusion to mental health planning and services; Thus 3,500 people affected by mental illness and/or epilepsy have access to mental health and development services through community-based mental health services in hard to reach communities in the Brong Ahafo Regions Supported the establishment of 17 community mental health clinics with specialist psychiatrists outreaches facilitated to support mental health treatment services at district and sub-district levels. France and Government of Ghana water and Sanitation Programme: MIHOSO executed 127 projects in Nkoranza South, Nkoranza North and Techiman with effective collaboration with community water and sanitation agency (CWSA) and funding from AfD/GoG Peri-Urban, Rural and Small Town Water Supply and Sanitation Project (RSTWSSP). Partnership with United Way Ghana and Tigo CSR Project: MIHOSO Partnered with UWG/Tigo and provided water, sanitation and educational building facilities to the people of Kukuramoah, and Pamdu in Tain and kintampo south districts respectively. AfD/GoG HES Consultancy –Kintampo North Municipal: MIHOSO International implemented projects with funding support from AfD/GoG in 6 Municipals/Districts in Brong Ahafo region. The project seeks to provide technical assistance to Municipal/District Assemblies and schools/institution in the promotion, marketing, management and supervision of potable water, hygiene and sanitation delivery to promote hygiene and sanitation in 104 communities.
