  • Major or Current Achievements *: Over five thousand rural school pupils have been informed on their sexual reproductive right through our outreach programmes in schools and the weekly radio programme. We have instituted the celebration of international day of the girl Child in the Adansi South District where all stakeholders meet to discuss issues concerning girl’s education. No pregnancy case was recorded in six of our most visited schools among final year basic school girls who sat for the BECE last year No birth case was recorded during the examination as compared to the previous year. Awareness on the consequences’ of teen pregnancy and unsafe abortions have been created to the general public through our Media Campaigns on Shaft Radio, Time FM, OFM and Ghana Television and Adom TV Through our engagement with the Assembly in New Edubiase, the Assembly has created more space for youth participation in the local governance process. For instance the Assembly has allocated an office for steering the affairs of the youth through the National Youth Authority. The Methodist primary school which was in a dilapidated structure has been relocated due to several written petitions and physical engagement with the District Coordinating Director, Social Welfare Department, Ghana Education Service and the District Magistrate Court.
