  • Key Objectives *: To address the problem of Malnutrition in children under the age of 5 years, improve the nutrition intake of pregnant women and lactating mothers. To improve food security at the household and aggregate levels by guarantying that families have food on their table through food banks. Food that is adequate (both in quantity and quality) to meet the nutritional requirements for a healthy and active life. Promoting hygiene habits and activities that will reduce the spread of diseases and improve the nutritional status of our beneficiaries. Promoting good, indigenous food cultures and dietary habits among women and children in the rural communities for healthy living and development. To enhance care-giving capacity within households with respect to child feeding and child care practices, as well as addressing the care and well-being of mothers. To improve the capacity of Primary Health-care Centers/schools/institutions within Nigeria to address food and nutrition/hygiene problems and to raise understanding of the problems of malnutrition and bad hygiene behavior in the undeserved communities at all levels of society, especially with respect to its causes and possible solutions. To reduce the amount of food waste by promoting sustainable conservation and redistribution of excess food to the most vulnerable in the society. To end poverty and malnutrition through education; enable sustainable development in agriculture through farming, combat and adapt to climate change. To empower vulnerable individuals/groups/ communities with skills that will inspire the entrepreneurial spirit in them which will develop various means of livelihoods needed to put food on their tables. To be the first port of call for welfare and emergency relief for disaster victims by providing co-ordination and support in the distribution of foodstuff and relief items. To ensure that support and information are consistently available to help guaranty the appropriateness of emergency programs. To enlighten the public on the importance of good nutrition and healthy living. To accept donations of food and food-related products, books and education-related products; drugs and health-related products; WASH-related products money and other properties. To co-operate with other NGOs (locally and internationally) with similar objectives and to work with other groups towards a solution to the problem of homelessness, poverty, chronic hunger, WASH and environment in Nigeria. To ensure that households, schools, market places, motor parks and other public places have access to clean drinking water as well as befitting sanitary and hygiene facilities. To protect our environment.
