• Exploits actuels ou majeurs : enel Ghana Foundation has undertaken a variety of projects in collaboration with the respective community of beneficiaries. Renel Ghana Foundation in 2010 organized Teaching Placement Projects for twelve (12) volunteer teachers as part of their Educational Exchange Programme from the United States of America, Canada, Nigeria and Ghana to teach in the following schools; Taviefe Primary School, Avemebeme Primary school in the West Danyi District in the Volta Region and road maintenance project in Ataniatta of West Akim District in the Eastern region. 2. Renel Ghana Leukaemia, Kidney and Hear undertook a successful project in October 2013 in support of a leukaemia patient by name Remember at the Korle-bu Oncology Paediatric Ward. 3. Also in 2014, Renel Ghana Foundation under the Renel Scholarship Scheme supported three (3) University students in paying their fees. The beneficiaries were Adesenu Mawuli, Wonder Kasquah and Macbeth all of University for Professional Studies, Accra. 4. The Renel Ghana Smile project commenced in 2014, where the Foundation on the 14th of February fed about 130 orphans and staff of the New Life Orphanage, Nungua in the Greater Accra region of Ghana. 5. In July 2014, Renel Ghana Foundation registered and renewed about 2000 people in the Jaman North District of the Brong Ahafo region under the National Health Insurance Scheme, paid hospital bills for patients, donated food items and clothing and educated them on the deadly Ebola disease, Cholera and Malaria. The beneficiary communities included; Adinkrakrom, Seketia, Buni, Buko and Nsonsormia. 6. In October 2014, Renel Ghana donated 120 pieces of hand sanitizers to Trinity Baptist church as part of the fight against the deadly EBOLA disease and Cholera. 7. In 2015, the second Renel Ghana smile project took place at the Orphans Village of Hope at Gomoa Fetteh in the Gomoa East District of Central region of Ghana on the 14th of February, where we donated some items, spent time and participated in games with the children and staff of the village. We encouraged, inspired and motivated the children to aspire for the best in all they do. 8. In April 2015, Renel Ghana foundation visited an eleven-month-old baby by name Ann Marie Antwi suffering from Chronic liver disease at Santa Maria in the Greater Accra region of Ghana under the Renel Heart Care Support Initiative. Renel Ghana Foundation supported Ann Marie by paying her hospital bills in Korle-bu pediatrics laboratory, weekly supply of baby foods, supply of physical needs and raised funds to support her surgery outside the country before she passed away on Mother’s Day. 9. In May 2015, under the Renel Scholarship Scheme; Caleb Essien, Sylvester Alangima and Paulina Amegashie all of the University of Ghana were supported with their tuition fees. 10. In November 2015 Renel Ghana foundation donated over 10,000 exercise books and stationeries to Avemedanyigba and Beme L\A School in the Volta region, Adinkrakrom and Buni primary school and Adadiem Primary and Junior High School in the Brong-Ahafo region, Otuate and Begro Primary and Junior High School in the Eastern region. 11. In January 2016 Renel Ghana foundation launched TECA (The Enemy Called Anger, Kill It) campaign. What this project seeks to achieve is to educate the public especially the youth about anger and its consequences. What anger has done to other African Nations and how to prevent it especially we at Renel Ghana sat down to examine critical issues that have come up in our society recently and we identified Anger as a root cause for many of these negative actions that occur. We see in the news and hear on radio these days about people pouring acids on their fellow human beings, people setting houses on fire and destroying properties running into millions of Ghana cedis; people butchering others with machetes, inflicting severe wounds on them and sometimes killing them, among others. All of these things come about as a result of anger and this has influenced our decision to initiate and champion a strong campaign against TECA, The Enemy Called Anger (kill it!), most importantly in this election year. We educated the general public on anger and its devastating effect on we as individuals, our friends, families and the society as a whole and most importantly how to manage anger during the electioneering period. TECA seeks to campaign against the root cause of wars in other African countries and how to deal with it or control it. 12. In Nov 2016 RGF supported Little Nana Ama in her first a hole in Heart Surgery at Korle Bu Cardiothoracic Centre. 13. RGF started building a 3-unit nursery and kindergarten classroom block in Dec 2016 for the Sampa Community in the Brong Ahafo Region of which still on going. 14. RGF in 2017 financially supported two patients, Desmond Anku and Edwin Owusu to undergo a crucial heart surgery. 15. From July-October 2017, RGF conducted a Girl-Child Reproductive Health education in the various Junior and Senior High schools in the Greater-Accra Region. 16. As part of Renel Ghana Foundation efforts to combat child marriage, a documentary film was produce to detail and outline the causes and implications of Early, Child and Forced Marriage in the prevalent regions of Ghana. The documentary film is also aimed at creating more awareness in the fight against this act. A number of stakeholders and prominent personalities have added their voices to the project for a major impact. They are: Dr. Joyce Aryee- CEO of Salt and Light Ministries. Hon. Alban Sumani Babgin- Second Deputy Speaker of Parliament. Hon. Haruna Iddrisu- Minority Leader of Parliament and M.P of Tamale South. Hon. Robert B. Kuganab-lem- M.P of Bunduri and Deputy Ranking Member of Health Committee. Hon. Suleman Alhassan- Upper-West Regional Minister. Hon. Siaka Stevens- M.P of Jaman North. Mrs. Christine-Marie Nyantakyi- Director of Oasis Montessori Prophet. Eric Parsley Ocloo- Finance Director of Ghana Baptist Convention. Hajia Busirata Moomin- Head Mistress T.I Ahmadiyya Secondary School, Wa. Mrs. Latifa Abobo Siddque- Director of Children, Upper-West. Mrs. Georgina Abrese-Ako- Director of Children, Upper-East. Dr. Gifty Anti- Ghanaian Broadcaster and Journalist. Sheik Osman Nuru Sharabutu- National Chief Imam. Mr. P.P Apaabey Baba- Director of NCCE, Upper-East. Mr. Paul Mfoafo Darteh, Teacher at St. Aidan’s Anglican JHS. Wa Naa Daudi Osman, Sunehi Naa of the Guli Paramountcy of the Wala Traditional Area. Mr. Donatus Adua Awine, Headteacher of Vea D/A JHS. Upper east Kazigo Pe Thomas Asangehera Aluah- Divisional Chief of Bururu-Kazigo in Paga Traditional Area. Three (3) Child Marriage Victims from Upper-West (Chegli and its surroundings) and Vea ,Buru- Kazigo in the Paga surroundings ,Upper-East as well as Three (3) parents of victims in Upper-West and Upper-East. this documentary will be priemered on the 9th of November 2018 and will be roll out in the next 3years
