  • Objectifs principaux : AFS Intercultural Exchange Programs (IEP) Ghana exists to promote the advancement of intercultural learning and global understanding. We design and deliver programs that bring together young people, families, and communities from diverse cultural backgrounds to engage in shared learning experiences. Through these interactions, participants gain deeper appreciation for each other’s cultures and develop a strong sense of global citizenship.

  • Exploits actuels ou majeurs : Exchange Impact Over the decades, the organization has sent more than 900 Ghanaian students abroad on high-school and volunteer exchange experiences and hosted at least 1,294 international participants in Ghana through study, volunteer, and community service programs. Student Engagement Through School Clubs IEP Ghana has supported a vibrant network of AFS School Clubs in senior high schools across Ghana. These clubs, started by returnees from exchange programs, now include dozens of active clubs with thousands of student members, helping youth develop leadership, intercultural understanding, and community engagement skills.
