  • Mission *: MISSION Global Youth Network for Peace seeks to adopt democratic principles and inclusive solution-based approaches in preventing, mitigating and resolving violent conflicts and build a world of hope for everyone, everywhere. We are dedicated to building lasting peace by reinforcing the capacities of societies to overcome deep divisions and to address conflict in non-violent ways. We are rooted in local realities, drawing strength from an alliance of national teams with a long-term commitment to building peace in their own societies. We believe in the wisdom of listening, the power of participation and the strength of informed dialogue to build understanding and trust – the foundations of peacebuilding.

  • Major or Current Achievements *: In early 2019, we recruited and trained 63 Community Network Coordinators as volunteers  We registered the organization with National Youth commission (NAYCOM)  We admitted 375 members into our membership portal  We established partnership with Fourah Bay College, African Young Voices, Freetown Television Network, O S Preneur, Women Shadow Parliament, and Limitless Foundation  We trained 67 youths on website designing, blogging and digital marketing  We hosted a well over 120 youths across the country to a National Youth Conference on Peace and Development  We initiated the project 1,000 which is aim at incubating 1,000 Sierra Leoneans into our civic peace building dialogues in 2020  We interviewed 235 applicants for project 1,000 out of the 585 applications received; 84 of the interviewed applicants were provisionally approved.  We initiated the High-Level Panel Dialogue on Gender Parity in the Workplace  A number of project and grant proposals were submitted in late 2019  We identified and approached twenty five national and international organizations for partnership  We identified and approached few experts to serve in our board and rebrand the organization . we organised the high level dialogue on gender parity at work place in march 8 which happens to be the the international women's day
