What is the directory about?
Ans: The West Africa CSO E-directory is an online platform dedicated to promoting the work of all legitimate organisations operating in West Africa to effectively collaborate, gather data and partner for a greater impact. It serves as a one stop shop for information and knowledge sharing for on all CSOs work in the region.
In the registration process, I am being requested to include a website address. Unfortunately, my organisation does not have a website yet and the system is not allowing me to complete the registration. Any help on this?
Ans: You can use the website domain name as your website. That is www.csowestafrica.org
Once you complete the registration process you can use the link specific to your organisation and change what was used in the registration process.
How do I register my CSO?
Ans: Visit www.csowestafrica.org as a first step.
NB: It is required that you use your organisational email in creating the organisational account. Also ensure that you make the password open when registering to enable other staff have access in using it.
What should I do when I find trouble logging in?
Ans: Refresh your homepage, select your country and type in your user name and password to log in. If you still find challenges, send an email to regionaldirectory@wacsi.org for help.
My organisation is outside West Africa, can I still register?
Ans: No, the website is dedicated only to organisations operating in West Africa. Below are the 18 countries the website covers.
Can I view the website if I am outside West Africa?
Ans: Yes
How do I post news, videos, events, galleries etc?
Ans: You can only post information as a registered organisation.
To do this, visit www.csowestafrica.org.
To do this, click on any of the Post from the CSO dashboard to be redirected it.
A notification will be sent to the Admin of the web portal to approve of the news or post before the news can be featured on the website

Ans: Visit the website on www.csowestafrica.org.
How do I view my profile as a registered CSO?
Ans: Log in with your registration details (email and password) on the homepage to access your account and view your profile.
How do I view news and posts by CSOs on the platform?
Ans: Visit the website on www.csowestafrica.org.
Select the country you wish to view post on and access all updates on the platform.

Ans: Visit the homepage of the website and click on a search button to type in the thematic area you are looking for.
What do I do if I find a challenge selecting a region in a registration process?
Ans: Refresh the page and start the process again
I have registered but have not received my confirmation email.
Ans: Ensure that all requested information in the fields requested for during the registration process have been completed before submitting. Refresh your email and check your inbox and junk email to view your confirmation.
