  • Exploits actuels ou majeurs : 1. WV has knowledgeable staff in the areas of Water and Sanitation Health (WASH), education, food security, child protection and advocacy. 2. Advocacy: Between 2014-2017, in collaboration with the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection, UNICEF and other partners, WV advocated and provided technical support for the development of the following policies: • The National Child and Family Welfare Policy; • The Justice for Children Policy • Gender in Education Policy • Re-entry guideline for girls who are victims of early /unplanned pregnancy back to school • The National End Child Marriage Campaign Framework • Development of a new five year strategy for the new ministry of sanitation and water resources. 3. World Vision Ghana has developed technical expertise in WASH programs. The WASH Programme has key technical staff including operation managers, water supply engineers, hydro-geologists, microbiologists, sanitation & hygiene promotion experts and construction technicians. Similarly, the WASH Programme has acquired important equipment (4 drilling rigs with compressors and support trucks, geophysics equipment, pump testing equipment & a regional water quality testing laboratory) which provides service to World Vision programmes in Ghana, Mali and Niger. 4. Strong working Relationships with other partners including the churches, research organisations, and the media 5. WV works with evidence based models/ approaches some of which are based on scriptures (sometimes Quran)
